Black Rock Park is located on Lake Buchanan not far from Buchanan Dam. This 25 acre park is popular with campers, swimmers, and boaters. Large oak trees provide ample shaded campsites. Most campsites have a view of the lake. Located adjacent to Black Rock Park is the Llano County Park Boat Ramp. This is a free public boat launch making it convenient for boaters to launch boats and enjoy Black Rock Park. Ample shoreline provides excellent opportunities for swimming and bank fishing. Black Rock Park is within easy driving distance of Inks Lake State Park and Longhorn Cavern State Park. Features: 15 RV Full Hookup Sites are available. These sites include a 30/50 amp combo electric, potable water, and septic hookups. Each site includes a paved RV pad, picnic table, small standing grill, and fire ring. Tent campers are permitted. 21 Tent Sites ar available. All sites have access to a potable water spigot but it may not be at the site. Each site includes a picnic table, fire ring, a small grill. 18 Mini-Cabins: These mini-cabins sleep up to 5 people in 2 sets of bunk beds. One bunk includes a full size bed on the bottom and a twin on top. The second bunk includes two twin size beds. Each cabin includes electricity, outside potable water spigot, heat and A/C, ceiling fan, front porch, picnic table, and grill. Restrooms and showers are available to park guests. They are locked and park guests should obtain the key code when they check in to the park. Dump station is available. From Marble Falls Texas Take FM 1431 West approximately 20 miles to CR-261 turn left, the park will be on your right approximately 0.5 mile from the intersection. From Llano Texas Take Hwy 29 East approximately 14 miles to FM 1431 West. Continue on FM 1431 W approximately 2 miles to CR261 turn left, the park will be on your right approximately 0.5 mile from the intersection. From Burnet, Texas Take Hwy29 West approximately 13 miles to CR 261 turn right, the park entrance will be on your right approximately 2.5 miles from the interection. |

Please contact park staff if arriving after 5:00 PM Entrance fees are charged in addition to your site fees and are collected upon arrival at the park. The entrance fees are $5 for adults (13 years and older) per person per day, children 12 years or younger are free,Texas senior residents (65 years and older) are $2 per person per day, military who are permanent disabled are $2 per person per day, disabled individuals are $2 per person per day. For detailed list of fees Click Here Pets are welcome in the park but must remain on leash or contained in a fenced structure. Pets are restricted to designated pet friendly mini-cabins. Quiet Hours are between 10PM and 6AM. No excessive noise, running generators, or amplified music is permitted during quiet hours. Smoking is strictly prohibited in any building including cabins. No glass containers are permitted. Check-In for all sites is 3pm and Check out is Noon. Park may fall under a Burn Ban without notice. Please go to www.lcra.org/parks for up to date status of burn bans at LCRA parks. A Burn Ban may include the restriction of all camp fires as well as grilling with wood or coal. Group Events are permitted at the park. Prior written permission shall be obtained from LCRA for any organized group activity on LCRA land involving 20 or more individuals. LCRA Cancellation Policy: Campsites: Reservations cancelled within 2 days (48 hours) of the arrival date will forfeit one night site fee plus any applicable transaction fees. No refund if reservations are cancelled less than 2 days (48 hours) prior to the scheduled arrival date. Cabins: Reservations cancelled within 2 days (48 hours) of the arrival date will forfeit one night site fee plus any applicable transaction fees. No refund if reservations are cancelled less than 2 days (48 hours) prior to the scheduled arrival date. Pavilions: Before 15 days of arrival date: Customer receives a full refund minus applicable transaction fees. 14 days or less of arrival date: No refund. Group Hall: Cancellations must be made 30 days prior to the arrival date to receive a full refund minus any applicable transaction fees. Cancellations between 29 and 4 days prior to the arrival date will forfeit one night site fee plus any applicable transaction fees. Cancellations made 3 or less days prior to the arrival date will not receive any refund. Notification: For an emergency cancellation within 14 days of arrival contact LCRA park staff. LCRA Transaction Fees: For all reservations made on the web there will be a Reservation Fee of $6.00 per Transaction. For reservations made through the Call Center there will be a Reservation Fee of $7.50 per Transaction. |
